Overview

In the Camargue of the Belle Époque, as new ideas begin to shake up the heritage of a world divided between rich and poor, sedentary and nomadic, Carmen is a young gypsy girl barely 18 years old who is discovering life. The fiery gypsy, a woman barely out of her teens, longs for freedom in a man's world. To achieve her goals, the ingenuous girl does not hesitate to use her only asset—her body. Beautiful and captivating, she stirs the love of those around her and sows passion in the heart of José, who is ready to make any sacrifice for her.
